About Stellar Forged
Stellar Forged provides mechanical design and manufacturing engineering capacity to companies that already have an engineering function. Our lead engineer has an engineering background from Imperial College London.
Engineering managers call us when the drawing office is loaded and a release date is not moving. We take a defined share of that work: models, drawings, bills of material, supplier packages. The work is done in your CAD system, to your drawing standards, under your revision control, so it comes back in a form your team can check and release without rework.

How We Work
1. Brief
Tell us what the work is and what state it is in. Existing CAD, drawings, specifications and the release date. An initial call carries no commitment.
2. Set up
We get access to your CAD vault and issue tracker, and agree drawing standards, part numbering and revision practice before any work starts. Set-up takes days.
3. Deliver
Work comes back on the agreed cadence, checked and complete. Drawings are GD&T compliant and files are supplier-ready.
Working Practice
We work in your system. Your CAD seats, your vault, your part numbering, your title blocks, your drawing standards. Nothing comes back in a format your team then has to convert.
Scope is agreed before anything starts, as a named list of parts, drawings or deliverables with a date against each one. You deal with the engineer doing the work throughout; there is no account manager in between. Deliverables are checked and dimensioned when they reach you, ready for your own review and sign-off.
A retainer can be increased through a release push and cut back afterwards. We would rather adjust the block each month than hold capacity you are not using.
What We Do Not Do
We are a mechanical design and drawing office. We do not do industrial design or styling work, we do not do electronics design, and we do not write your quality system for you. Where a job needs those, we work alongside whoever is already doing them.
