Stellar Forged is a mechanical design and manufacturing engineering consultancy. We provide additional design capacity to hardware manufacturers, government contractors, primes and their suppliers.
Most of our work is drawing office work. Parametric 3D models, dimensioned drawing packages, tolerance stack-ups, bills of material, and the supplier correspondence that goes with them. We also take defined design packages from concept through to release.
We work as an extension of an engineering team that already exists. Usually the work is already scoped when it reaches us: a subassembly, a drawing release, a set of models that need rebuilding to a parametric standard. We work in your CAD system, to your drawing standards, under your revision control.

The mechanical work splits into two service lines, covered on the services page: CAD and drawing office, and manufacturing and production support. Medical device programmes carry extra documentation requirements and are described separately. We also carry out software engineering work for large organisations, which is separate from the mechanical side.
